How to Enter

Tickets cost £75 each and we're selling a maximum of 300 tickets giving you minimum odds of of 300 to 1 of winning first prize!

To enter, you will need to submit an application of interest form for a Marina Berth and make sure that you tick the box indicating that you wish to enter the competition.

Once we receive your submitted form, we will phone you on the number you provide during our normal office hours to take payment with a credit or debit card (You can also come into the office to facilitate this if your are local and it's easier for you). If you're an existing berth holder, simply call us to make payment.

Once payment has been processed, we will issue you with a unique number to enter into a page on the website where you will be asked the answer to a general marine knowledge question. This process can only be completed once per entry and you will have 59 minutes to complete the question from the moment you first see it.

Incorrect answers or answers that are recieved more than 59 minutes after first entering your unique number will be withdrawn from the competition.

Win a Berth Prize Competition Terms and Conditions

Open to UK residents, aged 18 and over, excluding employees of Exmouth Marina Ltd, their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with the operation of the competition
This prize competition must be entered in one of the ways listed below to validate your entry.
1. How to enter for new customers
  
  Entry for new customers is through completion of an application of interest form found on our web site, ticking the competition box and pressing the submit button. You will then be contacted for payment details and receive a unique competition number to enable you to log back into the web site and answer the prize competition question. You have a limited time of 59 minutes once logged in to answer the question if the time taken is longer than the time period given then your answer will not be accepted and your competition entry will be withdrawn and no refund will be offered.
2. How to enter if you are a current berth holder
  
  Entry for existing berth holders please contact the harbour office via phone or email, payment will be taken to enter the competition and you will receive a unique competition number to enable you to log into the web site and answer the prize competition question. You have a limited time of 59 minutes once logged in to answer the question if the time taken is longer than the time period given then your answer will not be accepted and your competition entry will be withdrawn and no refund will be offered.
There will be no bulk, third party or automated entries permitted. The promoter may disallow entries, refuse to award any prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under these terms and conditions.
Start Date: The competition commences 21st December 2011
Closing Time & Date: 1700 hours, UK time, on 31st March 2012. Entries after this date will not be accepted
Prizes. The prizes as stated on the entry page
No cash or other alternative to the stated prize is available, except in the event of unforeseen circumstances the stated prize is no longer available; the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar prize or a prize of equal or greater value
Winners will be selected from all valid entries in a random selection to be conducted within 7 working days of the closing date
The winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or post within 14 days of the selection date and entrants who are not contactable within 30 days after reasonable means, shall be disqualified, lose their entitlement to the prize and it shall be awarded to a reserve entrant selected at the time of the initial selection
By entering entrants agree to participate in reasonable publicity in the event that they are a winner. This may include the use of their name and image in online publicity, in emails and through any other print or social media; If you don't agree with this we recommend that you do not enter the competition
Entrants agree that by entering this competition their personal details may be stored and otherwise processed by the promoter for the purposes of administering the prize draw and for the marketing and sending of other special offers. We will not pass your details to any third parties
The Promoter reserves the right to suspend / terminate the competition at any time if it has reasonable grounds for doing so, which may include without limitation a competition (or the website on which it is presented) being subject to, or affected by any denial-of service attacks, bugs, viruses or any other technologically harmful material or act of hacking by a third party, or in the event of any wilful attempt to breach these terms and conditions
The competition will be cancelled if less then 55 competition entries are received and a full refund will be offered to the entrants
Restrictions
1. Prizes are not transferable to a 3rd party
2. The 1st prize is for the 2012/13 Season only
3. The maximum length of vessel is 13 metres for the 1st prize of a Marina Berth
4. 1st Prize Excludes Multihulls
5. 1st Prize Excludes charges for electricity usage
